p35s RUBY HSP

This reporter construct consists of the P35S promoter, the RUBY reporter and the Arabidopsis thaliana HSP terminator. It is used to constitutively express RUBY in the plants. RUBY is an expression cassette that consists of CYP76AD1, DODA, and a glycosyltransferase[1]. These enzymes catalyze the conversion of tyrosine into betalain. Betalain exhibits a red color.
